A: Helpica is a platform that links people who need some help or assistance with those people who can (and will be happy to) provide it. Helpica develops a network of reliable supporters based on mutual respect and trust.
A: We developed a user-friendly mobile application that allows to easily leave and/or pick up a help request. Requesters can write a description of the task, define a price they are paying for it, attach some pictures, etc. Helpies can see open requests, filter them by location, topic or payment range, pick them and earn some money by helping others
A: You need to download the mobile application Helpica and create an account. All the users of the platform must be verified with Swiss ID. You will be given the option to select between signing up as a Helpie, as a Requester or both if you wish. After the verification process you can update your personal information, set up your profile picture, upload a short introduction video if you wish, fill out all the requested fields on your profile, and publish your first help request or pick one to help a person in need.
A: To register on the platform both Helpie and Requester must be verified with Swiss ID. Non verified users can’t see any data published on the app. Verified user accounts, transparency of data from both parties, trackable user actions such as history of published and picked up/completed requests, feedback section and user ranking, help us to create a network of trusted and reliable people.
A: We care about our users and satisfaction and safety of both parties of the deal is our #1 priority. Reviews written by verified users, users ranking, and trusted payment system that holds the payment until the work is done and confirmed by both sides guaranties safety and quality. Users with low ranking and negative feedback will be blocked and will lose access to the application.
A: If you’re not satisfied with the help you received or with the way Requester acted, you should leave a review and rating on the app to inform other users. The platform encourages transparent communication between users to resolve any issues and maintain a respectful and trusting environment.
A: Yes, you can be a verified user of the platform and publish a help request for another person (e.g. for your grandparents who don’t use smartphone). You must reflect this in the request by choosing “Request for another person” category, so Helpie will be aware. Otherwise, if Helpie sees that there is a different from the Requester’s profile person waiting for help, Helpie must report and under no circumstances perform the task. Requester from whom profile the request was published will be blocked on the platform permanently.
A: No, if you want to help someone you must do it yourself, using your own verified account, that contains your personal data, including picture and/or video to be able to prove your personality. If a Requester sees that another person came to complete the task, Requester must report and the Helpie who accepted request will be blocked on the platform permanently. If by any reason you can’t complete the task you need to cancel the accepted request and submit the appropriate reason.
A: Once a Helpie accepted your request, you will receive a notification. After that you can see the Helpie’s profile, personal data, pictures and/or introduction video, completed tasks, feedback of other Requester and their ranking. Based on this information you can make your choice – accept or reject the assigned Helpie. If you reject more than 3 people in a row your account will be frozen for 48 h.
A: You can ask about help with variety of jobs of different level of complexity – from simple daily tasks such a help with groceries, walking with your dog, to fixing a dripping faucet or transportation of your piano, and other more complex tasks. The platform attempts to link Requesters with Helpies based on their location or chosen preferences. Be aware that it is forbidden to request medical help or provide medical services via Helpica platform.
A: Download, register and use Helpica app is free of charge for everyone. Once you publish your task you decide on the price you are willing to pay Helpie for its completion.
